Shangri La Diet: Day Sixteen

Curioser and curiouser… I ate very little yesterday, went for a 2 mile run after work and this morning my weight is exactly the same? These things happen, I’m sure it will start dropping again soon. On the plus side, I’ve lost half an inch off my stomach in the last week and a half.
I had 1 egg, a sausage patty and 1 slice of toast for breakfast. Nothing with sugar in it and I was suprisingly full afterwards. I actually felt stuffed for a couple of hours. There’s a definite trend here, anything with sugar causes me to be hungry sooner. That’s good news because I actually don’t like sugary breakfast foods.

My wife started walking/jogging again. Her eating dropped a little, she got in over 35 miles this week, her weight stayed the same. I’m wondering if you will experience the “whoosh” effect that a lot of people have gone through, though the good measure, as you noted, is the size shrinking, not the weight changing.

Yes, I did see the “whoosh” effect. Several days ago I noticed I had to pee a lot during the day, the next day I was down two pounds. It may have just been water weight, hard to say really.
I’m gradually reclaiming pants I thought I had grown too fat for, that’s more important than the scale!
