Reset

OK so it’s been almost a month since my last post.  A few days after that post my weight was down to 252 and I got cocky and figured I had everything under control. I stopped taking the oil, figuring if I could keep eating the same way minus the 400 extra calories, I’d lose weight even faster.  Wrong.  I slowly slid back into all my old habits, started eating fast food lunches and gained back nearly everything I had lost.  Lesson learned.

So, I’m calling a do-over.  I started back on the oil today and I’ll be keeping track of things here at the blog.  Next time I get over confident I’ll make sure I re-read this post.

    Did you notice much change in your appetite, or was it just choosing fast food that sunk you? I’m off of SLD for a while as an experiment, and I haven’t noticed much change in appetite.

    Yeah, the hunger came back. Not immediately, which is what tripped me up. For several days I felt the same but it gradually went back to pre-SLD levels. I was hungrier during the day and what really wrecked me was I no longer felt full after eating a small amount. When I was on SLD I would be full after eating a sandwich or salad, off SLD I would eat a whole McDonald’s value meal and not feel full. Definitely a difference.
